Public Affairs August 2025 Update
Our Public Affairs team has been busy this month. We connected with decision makers across Arizona, came together for our annual retreat, and volunteered in the community.
Here are a few highlights from what we’ve been working on.
1..Connecting Clients with Decision Makers: League of Arizona Cities and Towns Annual Conference
Every year, during their annual conference, the League of Arizona Cities and Towns convenes hundreds of municipal and state elected officials, city leadership, and decision makers across the public and private sectors for a week of meaningful conversations and connections on key policy trends and needs in the Grand Canyon State that impact local government and their business community partners.
The Echo Canyon Consulting Public Affairs team participated in the multi-day League of Arizona Cities and Towns annual conference held at the Princess Resort in Scottsdale, engaging with stakeholders that are passionate about their constituencies, exploring ways to further drive their impact while also attracting business and reducing barriers to development through targeted approaches.
Supporting our clients, we shared best practices and strategic solutions to complex policy issues that affect all Arizonans and Arizona businesses, as well as setting the foundation for community-centered, strategic communications to enhance engagement.
2. Taking it to the New Heights: Echo Canyon Consulting Annual Retreat
At Echo Canyon Consulting we put words into action! Early this month, we brought our team members from our offices across the country all together in one location for our annual retreat, here in sunny Arizona where the firm was born and where our Public Affairs team is based!
Almost a month later, we’re still running on that high and we’re already seeing the fruits of our comprehensive meetings and robust conversations come to fruition.
From strategic conversations on target sectors that we’re continuing to focus engagement in, complimenting the needs of our client base, to exploring new value adds that leverage our unique horizontal integration between the public affairs and campaign services teams, we’re energized and ready to reach even greater heights for those we work with. And, of course, we had fun doing it!
Not only did the Public Affairs and Campaign Services teams have engaging conversations together to drive our efforts further, but we also helped to bring all team members together to continue to build synergies and workshop new opportunities for cross-functional partnerships and client experiences.
What does this mean for our clients? It means a public affairs and political consulting firm that further leverages our team’s unique skillsets to take the efficiency and effectiveness that our clients know us for to even greater heights!
3. ECC Public Affairs in the Community: Volunteers at Phoenix Ronald McDonald House
Echo Canyon Consulting is composed of community members passionate about the work as well as giving back. Members of our Public Affairs team regularly take opportunities to serve as we identify needs in our communities through our work. Last week, members of our team were excited to volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House in Phoenix, preparing meals for dozens of families during their time of need.
We’re proud to not only serve our communities and our clients, but also to get our hands dirty in the process and provide a helping hand! Thank you, Ronald McDonald House Charities, for all you do for families across America!
These efforts show what matters to us: supporting our clients, strengthening our team, and giving back to the community. We look forward to building on this momentum in the months ahead.
